The Face Behind the Sleep Guides

 Hi, I’m Tegan — mama, certified pediatric sleep consultant, and the creator of Sleepytime Solutions!


If you’ve found your way here, chances are you're a tired parent just looking for a few hours of rest — and I see you. I’ve been there. That’s exactly why I created these age-based, easy-to-follow sleep guides — so families like yours can get the sleep they need without 1:1 consulting, complicated strategies, or crying-it-out.

Let me tell you a little more about the person behind the plans.

A Bit About Me

I’m originally from what I lovingly call a “small town” in the suburbs of Chicago. And by “small,” I mean 1,000 kids in my graduating class — but we didn’t get a Walmart until I was in college, so it felt small. It’s the kind of place where everyone knows someone you know, and even though it’s technically a city, it will always feel like home.

After college, life took me to Iowa, Texas, back to my hometown, then Iowa again — and once more, back home. I now live here with my two amazing little ones: Charlie and Finn, who are just 15 months apart and (I’m manifesting this) future best friends. They're also the reason this business exists.

Why Sleep? Why This?

I’ve always been a sleep-lover. Even in college, I’d calculate how many hours I could squeeze in before class. So, when I got pregnant in 2019 and people told me I’d “never sleep again,” I refused to accept that. I read everything — books, blogs, research, forums — trying to figure out how to make sleep work for our family.

And guess what? It did. 

Friends began asking for tips. Then friends of friends. I realized helping families get the sleep they desperately needed wasn’t just something I was good at — it lit me up. I became a certified pediatric sleep consultant through the Center for Sleep Management and launched my first business, Bedtime Babble.

Then, as life shifted, I needed to step back from 1:1 consulting. But I never stopped wanting to help families — I just needed to do it in a way that fit my season of life.

That’s where Sleepytime Solutions was born: a collection of gentle, practical, age-based digital sleep guides designed to give you the tools — and confidence — to make sleep easier for everyone in your home.
